God’s Chosen Sabbath

A recurring, regularly scheduled day of worship – Isa_58:13-14
      13“If because of the sabbath, you turn your foot
            From doing your own pleasure on My holy day,
            And call the sabbath a delight, the holy day of the LORD honorable,
            And honor it, desisting from your own ways,
            From seeking your own pleasure
            And speaking your own word,
      14Then you will take delight in the LORD,
            And I will make you ride on the heights of the earth;
            And I will feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father,
            For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.”


The True Day of Worship
   ► Refrain from your wants – Isa 58:13
   ► Do what God wants – Isa 58:13;
   ► Delight in Him – Isa 58:13;
   ► Honor God – Isa 58:13;
   ► Make His day holy – Isa 58:13;

God’s Result
   ► You will Delight in Him – Isa 58:14;
   ► He will make you ride on the heights of the earth – Isa 58:14;
   ► He will feed us from a godly heritage – Isa 58:14;
   ► God has promised – Isa 58:14;
