► God’s Plan was for all of mankind:
   • Created man for a relationship – Gen 1:27, 2:24-25; Eph 5:32;
   • Not by works – Rom 4:2;
   • It is a heart thing – Rom 4:3-4;
   • Based on faith – Rom 4:5;
   • He promised – Rom 4:16;
   • He made an oath – Heb 6:17;

   • Giving Hope – Heb 6:18;
   • Anchor of the soul – Heb 6:19;
► Man blew it:
   • Rules were simple – Gen 2:17;
   • Sin led to death – Rom 6:23;
► God shows that man’s way will not work:
   • Requirement, The Whole Law – Gal 5:3; James 2:10;
   • God’s grace is given to the contrite- Ps 51:17; Isa 57:15, 66:2;
   • God patience during flood- Gen 6:3;
   • God sought individuals – Ezek 22:30 KJV; Ps 106:30-31; Ezek 34:6;
   • God showed other approaches wouldn’t work – Neh 9:30;
   • Messiah is the answer – Isa 59:16;

► The mechanism for God to fulfill this plan varies from person to person, but it always involves three (3) important aspects:
  • God’s justice and holiness are requirements.
  • Jesus’ death on the cross pays the payment for sin.
  • All Christians have to walk by faith not by sight.
