We Are the Apple of God’s Eye, His Focus

▪︎ God focuses on His children – Deut 32:9-10;
▪︎ Like an eagle watches over her young – Deut 32:11; Zech 2:8;
▪︎ Apple of the Eye – (אִישׁוֺ – Hebrew) – ishon  ► the pupil (of the eye) – Ps 17:8;
▪︎ God focuses eyes and ears on His dwelling place here on earth – 2Chron 6:20, 21; This prayer is especially applicable to those who believe in our Lord Jesus Christ and are filled with His Holy Spirit… 1Cor 2:12, 6:19-20;
▪︎ God focused His eyes on the exiles for good to bring them back to the land, to build them up and to plant them – Jer 24:6.
▪︎ We should focus on His Word as precious – Prov 7:2;
▪︎ God’s word should be the apple of our eye – Prov_7:1-4
      1My son, keep my words
            And treasure my commandments within you.
      2Keep my commandments and live,
            And my teaching as the apple of your eye.
      3Bind them on your fingers;
            Write them on the tablet of your heart.
      4Say to wisdom, “You are my sister,”
            And call understanding your intimate friend;
